Akshay Kumar On the Sets of movie BOSS in Delhi

The Akshay Kumar in Delhi

The macho Akshay Kumar has been shooting for the most awaited action comedy of the year Boss. Needless to say, Akshay is going all out with this film in terms of action and comedy.

The team of BOSS just finished shooting in Delhi and some of the toughest action sequences were shot in the bustling Chandni Chowk and Jama Masjid. It is one of the most populated areas of the city which made the crew members have a tough time.

The crew had to manage a large crowd that turned up to witness the BOSS Kumar in action. Naturally, this created a nightmare for the crew to manage the number of people and also ensure the shoot to progress smoothly. And when the BOSS realized the chaos created by the crowd for shooting, he decided to do his own bit for controlling the crowd.

A crew member says, "The shootings were happening all day long and thousands had come to see their favorite star in flesh and blood. Even the 100 odd private security personnel and many more policemen couldn't control the crowd. After every break, Akshay had to literally wave to the audience and request them to calm down. At Chandni Chowk, he actually walked through the thousands of people who had come to see him into his car."

Needless to say, Akshay emerged as a saviour for the crew members.

A stroll down the memory lane for Akshay Kumar during BOSS...

The Most awaited action comedy of the year BOSS is almost at the corner. Being the talk of the town for a while now, Akshay Kumar has left no stones upturned to entertain his fans with BOSS. From comedy to action to drama , Boss assures to take you on a jet pack joy ride.

A major part of the shooting of BOSS has been done in Bangkok and Delhi, both being closely associated with Akshay's life . Akshay Kumar has grown up in Delhi, and learnt martial arts from Bangkok. Without a doubt, the movie has created a huge emotional connect with Akshay.

According to a source, while shooting for this action comedy movie, Akshay got emotional on the set. "We were shooting for a scene in Chandni Chowk which was hardly some 200 meters away from Akshay's old house. That was the place where he grew up. Infact the house is still there, with some of his relatives residing there. Akshay wanted a glimpse of his old house as he hadn’t visited the place for a few years now. But it was impossible for him to reach his old house in Chandni Chowk in the day as he would get mobbed by the crowd. So one early morning, at 4:00am, Akshay drove the car himself and went outside his house, stood there for 30 mins and relived the old happy days."

Boss is all set to tickle your laughter bones and yes, break the bones of the villains in the film.

Directed by Anthony D'souza, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty, Shiv Pandit, Aditi Rao Hydari along with Danny Denzongpa, Ronit Roy, Johnny Lever.
